Adult Drop-in Bereavement Support Service Hedon 2022
The Adult Drop-in Bereavement Support Service operated by trained Cruse volunteers will be available at the Community Junction Coffee Lounge at the Hedon Methodist Church on the THIRD THURSDAY of each month.
St Augustine’s Pantry open Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve
Rev. Sue Pulko has reminded folks that the St. Augustine’s Pantry will be open on Thursdays including Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve from 10:30am – 12.30pm when in addition to the basic 12 items, fruit and veg, a Christmas treat and a Christmas gift will be available.
East Riding Winter Grants Scheme
Applications for period one will need to be received by Sunday, 20 December. Covers things like the cost of food, energy (such as heating, cooking and lighting), water bills (including sewerage) and other essentials (such as sanitary products), warm clothing, soap, blankets, boiler service/repair, and purchase of equipment including fridges, freezers and ovens.
Lions donate Festive gift bags to St. Augustine’s Pantry, Hedon
The Pantry at St. Augustine’s Church, Hedon continues to provide a useful service to residents who are facing financial difficulties. That service has now been boosted by the Holderness Lions who yesterday donated 15 festive bags to the Pantry.
