Advanced: Candid means candid – try not to get noticed!
Show us a slice of life in a neighbourhood, village, town or city centre. The subject may be quirky or different, but this type of photography can also help to make the humdrum into something special, particularly by paying attention to the lighting conditions and the time of day. Street photographers often tend to use black and white in their work, but this is not a requirement.
An aspect of street photography that can be controversial is the candid camera approach; try to photograph your subjects without them knowing! Adopt this approach if you are comfortable with it. You can go hunting for your subjects, or wait in a good location for your subject to enter the scene.
