A FREE EVENT is being held in Hedon where voluntary and community groups can find out about help and support on offer to them.
The venue is at Hedon Methodist’s The Community Junction, on Church Lane, Hedon, on Friday, 28 October 2022 between 12 noon and 3pm.
The HEY SMILE Foundation has been commissioned by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council to support community organisations and groups across the county, and they want as many charities and groups as possible to know about what is available to support the work they do. The SMILE Community Development team can give advice about governance issues, seeking funding, and making grant applications. They also offer a free equipment hire service and guidance on how to attract, train and manage volunteers.
We want charities and groups to have the know-how to be beacons in their communities, particularly as we cope with the cost-of-living crisis. So, please feel free to share this invitation with like-minded organisations.
