HEDON TOWN COUNCIL is thrilled to have received a letter from Kensington Palace, the official working Royal residence of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and new Royal baby Prince George.
Following a letter of congratulations sent to the Royal palace following the birth of Prince George, Miguel Head the Private Secretary to HRH The Duke of Cambridge has sent the following reply:
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have asked me to write and thank you for the very kind letter you sent on behalf of Hedon Town Council to their Royal Highnesses on the occasion of the birth of their son, Prince George.
Their Royal Highnesses have been overwhelmed by the incredibly kind messages they have receives and the Royal couple, their parents and families are so thrilled at this special time.
The Duke and Duchess would have me send you their warmest thanks and best wishes.
HRH Prince George of Cambridge, full name, George Alexander Louis, was born Monday 22nd July 2013 to Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. Prince George is third in line of succession to the throne after the Prince of Wales (Charles) and the Duke of Cambridge.
A copy of the letter sent to Hedon Town Council is currently on display in the Community Notice Board in Market Place.
