Your 52 Week Photography Challenge this Week 7 is MONOCHROME
WEEK 7 – MONOCHROME and/or BLACK & WHITE. If you can, turn your camera to black and white only. And this week, any photo subject you like! Advanced: Try monochrome that ISN’T black and white!
While all black-and-white photos are monochrome, not all monochromatic images are black-and-white, as the term encompasses any image rendered in the various tints, shades, and tones of a single hue. If something is monochromatic, it contains just one colour. When we talk about monochromatic colours, we refer to all tints, shades and tones of a pure single colour (the hue).
