It’s the first day of the Thorngumbald Scarecrows trail today with 37 displays to discover between 10am and 4pm and the village hall fair between 11am and 3pm.
Today is an open day for Hedon Museum’s “Remember the 1970s?” exhibition. On each Open Day (Saturday and Wednesday) we will publish information on a particular year during that decade. Today, we look at what was going on in Hedon and nationally in 1973. These fascinating notes were drawn up by Dr. Martin Craven of the Hedon Museum Society.
