THE SCARECROWS AT THORNGUMBALD ARE BACK! Thorngumbald Scarecrow Trail will take please Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd July this year (2022).
37 Scarecrow entries are on display over the weekend (10am – 4pm) for the public to discover. They can be hunted down with the help of the scarecrows map which can be bought for £1 from local shops and the village hall. Voting slips are on the maps to vote for your favourite Scarecrow.
A Scarecrow Village Fair will be held on Saturday only at the village hall from 11am to 3pm.
Stalls will include Local crafts, Fudge, Costume jewellery, Personalised gifts, Cake, Wax melts, Teddy tombola, Bottle tombola, General tombola, Name the Penguin and a Raffle. An ice-cream van will also be on-site and refreshments will be served.
Organised by Thorngumbald Preschool which is a registered charity. All proceeds to fundraise for the Preschool.
