Hedon’s Wednesday bus service extended until March 2022

HEDON’S Wednesday bus service No. 84 is a pilot scheme. It has now been extended until the end of March 2022.

HEDON’S Wednesday bus service No. 84 is a pilot scheme currently funded by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council, operated by HART in cooperation with Hedon Town Council. The pilot scheme originally planned to end at the end of January 2022, has now been extended until the end of March 2022.

The bus aims to shuttle people into Hedon town centre on its busy Market Day so they can take advantage of the shopping and lunchtime experience in the local cafes and pubs. The service is useful for visits to Hedon Museum and also can help with those services facilitating convenient appointments for residents who have mobility issues or don’t drive/walk.

The service will also likely be more convenient for people during the colder winter months.
