HU12 Online wants to improve its reach and coverage, particularly in Paull, Preston and Thorngumbald areas. Can you help by sending us factual news and information about those places? Let our audience know what’s happening, what’s going on, what’s the buzz?

If you are passionate about the place you live, could you write about it regularly and talk to others about it? Can you help us report the news there?  As well as those with the loudest voices, could you help us seek out those in the community not normally heard? If this interests you, consider becoming one of HU12 Online’s volunteer correspondents!

We constantly seek news from local communities (i.e. places, business, faith, sports, history, leisure, nature, hobby and other groups). Interested in the Environment? Then could you be our Climate Emergency correspondent? Our aim is to offer balanced coverage of controversial issues, but above all HU12 Online aims to be a source of positive press around which community action can be celebrated, supported and promoted.

You can – and anyone can – just email your stories, photos and videos to us, but if you want to become an online blogger and publish on the website directly, we can show you how. This will all provide useful skills and experience you can add to your CV.

Interested in getting involved or sharing ideas about this? In the first instance email the Editor at hu12@gmx.com or rlduffill@gmail.com.
