Holderness Gazette asks about the crisis: “How is it affecting you?”

Perhaps the starkest page that has ever been seen in the Holderness Gazette in its 110-year history!? Do support our local community newspaper with your stories and news.

THESE strange times of self-isolation have never been seen before in our lifetime during peacetime. The national lockdown to combat coronavirus named Covid-19 has meant we instantly have to adapt to a new way of living.

How is it affecting you? How are you coping with self isolation? Many of us are working from home and some of us are home-educating our children What are you doing to entertain yourself and what activities are you doing to take a break? Are you learning a new skill, or revisiting an old one? Are you getting out the knitting needles, tuning up your ukulele, or is yoga your bag? If you are older, or in a high-risk health category are you relying on help from a community hub or how are you coping? Have you discovered audio books or are you writing your own coronavirus diary?

We want to hear your stories from the heart of Holderness and reflect them in the Gazette. We are here for you on news@holderness-gazette.co.uk, https://www.facebook.com/holdernessandhornseagazette/
