IT’S JUNE… nearly summer… so local photographers out there ought to start thinking about their pictures to submit for the Hedon Calendar 2016.
The reminder comes as plans are considered by the council to produce next year’s town calendar. It is expected that the images for each of the 12 months will be chosen once again from those submitted by members of the public.
Proceeds from the sale of the calendar are spent on organising a series of community events for the benefit and entertainment of local residents.
Expect an announcement from the council soon about next year’s calendar – but in the meantime let’s get snapping in and around Hedon!
And perhaps we should offer a prize for the best photo that captures the spirit of Hedfest in August 2015… which almost certainly should find its way into the new calendar as the image of August 2016…??
