Hedon Scrufts 2024 – a roaring success.
DOG SHOW Hedon Scrufts 2024 was a roaring success. Hedon Town Council organised it in the Haven Arms on Havenside. It was well supported by dog owners and spectators.
Best in Show was the winner of the Pawfect Puppy class – George! Well done, George!
- Waggiest Tail – 3rd Gordon, 2nd Dolly, 1st Pibble (Staffy) WINNER
- Best Rescue Dog – 2nd Scarlotte, 1st Teddy (Afgan) WINNER
- Most Handsome Dog – 3rd Vader, 2nd Lincoln, 1st Arthur (Golden Doodle) WINNER
- Loveliest Lady – 3rd Maise, 2nd Bella, 1st Ronnie (Whippet) WINNER
- Pawfect Puppy – 3rd Mavis, 2nd Batman, 1st George (French Bull Dog (6 months)) WINNER
- Citizen Pooch – 3rd Loki, 2nd Tilly, 1st Teddy (Afgan) WINNER
- Dog judge would like to take home – 3rd Arthur, 2nd Ronnie (Cockapoo), 1st Betty (Cockapoo) WINNER
- BEST IN SHOW – 1st George ( French Bull Dog)

Hedon Scrufts was organised by Hedon Town Council with support on the day from Councillor Sam Banks, staff members Kim Gray, Caroline Addy, Jane Johnson and works supervisor Kevin. Judges were Hedon Mayor Councillor Di Storr and consort Tracy Wright. Compère John Dawson kept everyone entertained throughout the event. Two stalls kept people supplied and entertained on the day: Bark & Sparkle and Fantastic Faces.
Flowers were presented by the council to say Thank You to the judges Tracy and Di, and also to Alison Smyth from the Haven Arms.
What a fantastic day, our first show and my dog was really well behaved, was made to feel welcome, both of us 😍🐾
