JUST GOT MARRIED? Then brides might like to travel the path apparently especially made for them off Johnson’s Corner car park in Hedon!

Bridalway sign

The ‘Public Bridalway’ sign has recently appeared there and as horse-lovers know it has a completely different interpretation to the path made for the animals – a bridleway!

But wait! This might not be a spelling mistake from the sign-makers or planners, it might be deliberate – after all the ‘Public Bridalway’ sign has been made for Love Lane!

Thanks to eagle-eyed Ray Jordan and Jim Lindop for alerting us to this new bridal service!?

  1. Its maybe because the bridge at the end isn’t fit for equine use, but then again I have seen a few brides that would struggle over it.

  2. HA Ha..and its pointing towards the Haven Arms, where more than twenty fine residents of Hedon and district have got married this year alone- including Saturday just gone Michele and Gary Williams!! Congrats to all.
