A FANCY DRESS party at the Alexandra Hall tonight (Friday 10th May 2013) will launch the Kerry Key Foundation. The new charity is being established in memory of local mum Kerry Key who died last year following a seven-year battle with cancer.
Kerry, described as ‘truly inspirational’ by her friends and colleagues, made determined efforts to raise funds for charity. She did lots to raise awareness of cancer and of those organisations that can help sufferers. The new charity hopes to continue Kerry’s work by raising funds and organising fundraising events for the charities that she supported and were close to her heart.
The ‘Shows from the West End’ will be the theme of the Fancy Dress party – so expect to see a few Phantoms, Cats, wicked witches, and people wearing technicolour dreamcoats around Hedon!
A few tickets at £10 each are left for this ticket only event – anyone wishing to buy a late ticket should contact Laura as soon as possible on 07794 429 297.
