Hedon Museum signOPEN AGAIN! After its winter break, Hedon Museum will be open again on Wednesday, February 6th 2013.

Find Hedon MuseumOnce Christmas was over, volunteers have been sorting and sifting, decorating and dusting – having a thorough spring clean even though spring is not yet here!

Downstairs, the Small Room has been rearranged, with costume display complementing the wall panels depicting Hedon in Georgian times.

Upstairs in the main Gallery, a recent donation of large historic maps of Holderness will be the first exhibition of the year. This will depict a view of life in the area through the eyes of the old map makers.

This will be followed by seven more displays throughout the year.

Large display boards are out in the town when the museum is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays during the year and the Holderness Gazette, Hedon Blog and local posters keep visitors informed of changing exhibitions.
