The Sunday Jigsaw. Click to Reveal.
The statue “The Crossing” on Hull Marina depicts an immigrant family from Europe at a short stop in the Hull area before continuing their journey to Liverpool (where there is a similar if not identical statue) and then across the sea to America. It was donated to Hull by the Sea Trek Foundation of America (Pioneer Heritage Foundation), who traced their ancestors’ journey to the new world. There is a third statue in Portsmouth. The artists who created the statues were Mark DeGraffenried, Neil Hadlock and Taylor Hadlock.
