The 676th Mayor of Hedon has given her thanks to all those attending her charity Quiz Night at the Haven Arms on January 31. It was a packed house!
Councillor Di Storr said: “Thank you to Mark and Alison (at the pub) for being amazing hosts! And to Fresh n Fruity, Indies pet shop, Calceus of Hedon and the Haven Arms itself for providing some of the raffle prizes – and of course to everyone who supported the event!
“We raised £279 for my nominated charity Hull and East Yorkshire MIND. Thank you!”
The £279 follows on from the £200 raised at the charity night spent in a haunted Town Hall a few weeks ago!
