THE FORMER POST OFFICE is the subject of a new planning application.

The applicant seeks to use the building as a carvery and delicatessen, in part as a hot food outlet (rotisserie and carvery) and partly as a cold food counter. Opening hours from 8 am until 6 pm are proposed. There would be no night-time trading.

The proposed application requires no external works to the building.

Find out more about the planning application at the East Riding Publc Access website and search for reference: 21/00663/PLF.

  1. This is to be considered by Hedon Town Council this evening (see Agenda). The town council is a consultative body only so doesn’t make the actual decision, they only give an opinion and recommendation. The actual decision-makers on planning applications is the East Riding of Yorkshire Council.

  2. I agree Janet, we have a deli, we need something different. As Luxe is not reopening would make a nice little bistro!

  3. We don’t need a other fast food outlet, and we have a lovely new deli just recently opened. Let’s give it a chance!
