WE encouraged you to attend and take photographs to help us record HedFest.
The first Hedon Festival #HedFest15 took place in August and we are keen to capture the essence of that event in photography. That competition ends next Tuesday 1st September 2015!
If you didn’t attend HedFest but took photographs elsewhere – or plan to take them this weekend (perhaps at the Paull Scarecrow Festival) then you can still enter those photos too. Just review the rules below:
Our competition aims to find the best photographs that depict one or more of the following:
1. The Community at Play
2. The Festival Spirit and
3. Community Spirit.You are free to define these as you wish, the only rules are
a) you must take the photographs during HedFest or at one of the other community events taking in South West Holderness area (Hedon, Paull, Preston, Thorngumbald) taking place in August 2015, and;
b) send up to three photographs only.
Send your photos by email only to hu12@gmx.com stating a title for each photo sent, your name and telephone number. Closing Date: Tuesday 1st September 2015.
Prizes:
1st. £100
2nd. £50
3rd. £25.Determined by a judging panel pulled together by the South West Holderness Herald community newspaper.
We’ve established a HedFest Page on Flickr the photo-sharing website and will publish all entries on that site. You can join that page and post your photos yourself, but only those e-mailed will be entered into the competition.
