EAST Riding Kickboxing Club sessions on Thursdays at the Scout Hall on Sheriff Highway, now has a wide age-range of people attending.
The classes for the Korean-style martial art have therefore been split into two – it will be kids (from age 4 upwards) 6pm – 7pm and teens and adults from 7pm – 8pm.
Club instructor Joy Peacock (1st Dan Black Belt) says that the club is not competitive and concentrates on the fitness and self-protection aspects of the martial art:
“A great way of improving fitness, flexibility, strength and self-confidence in a friendly, family environment.”
