RYEHILL Village Hall will host something special on Thursday 4th December 2014 – a real family seasonal treat – with the staging of a charming comedy for Christmas by Badapple Theatre Company who present…
“The Mice Who Ate Christmas”
“It’s 1818, and Edna and Wilbur are having trouble getting into the Christmas spirit. That’s because they are two particularly hungry village mice, who find themselves on an extraordinary winter journey.
“Seduced by a newspaper cutting that reads ‘Switzerland: Land of Cheese’ they set sail for that mystical place where the streets are paved with cheese, where the rivers run brimful of chocolate and the mountains themselves are made of ‘Toblerone’.”
Described as a ‘delightfully upbeat Christmas story’ it is based on the classic story surrounding the writing of the modern carol Silent Night.
Children age 5 and upwards will love the production. But it is also a Christmas comedy for adults to enjoy, even if they don’t have children to bring!
“The Mice Who Ate Christmas” takes place at the Ryehill Village Hall on Thursday 4th December 2014 starting at 7:30pm.
Tickets cost £9.50 and £5 for under 16’s. They can be booked on 01964 621868.
Raffle, Mince Pies and Mulled Wine available!
