SANDHILL Country Park will be the location for Preston Village Show on Saturday 19th July 2014 – Showground opens at 12:30pm with formal opening at 1pm.
The large field on Lelley Road will be transformed into the showground once again with its activities, displays and exhibitions ranging from animals to vintage machinery, and the usual circus skills, archery, fair rides and lots of information and crafts stalls.
But it’s the Village Show competitions which provide the focus of the day. Categories include jams & preserves, handicrafts, floral art, as well as the traditional vegetables, fruits and flowers, breads & cakes. There are a whole range of competition categories which children have entered too.
Admission to Show: £2 adults. 50p children.
