EXPLOSION OF COLOUR is your Week 27 Challenge of the 52 Week Photography Challenge!
Explosion of Colour! Your photo should assail the senses with vibrant colour. Saturation of the colours in editing software should be avoided.
Advanced: This is really advanced… depict a really colourful scene… in black & white!
‘Explosion of Colour’ is your Week 27 photography challenge. The basic part of this challenge should serve as good practice for creating images for the 2026 Open Photography Competition in the COLOURS category. This is a reminder of the criteria: Colour in a photograph can shape emotion, add meaning and create a visual impact. Your photo should use colour purposefully rather than just being incidental.
Join the 52 Week Photography Challenge and send your photo to the Gallery.
