FROM MONDAY 24th February 2014 part of Westlands Road will be closed whilst roadworks take place. East Riding Council is installing traffic islands and tactile paving. The roadworks are expected to last for three days.
Bus Service 80 will not be able to serve Westlands Estate during the roadworks.
Only two journeys per day will be affected – the 9.24am and 11.43am Service 80 journeys from Westlands Estate.
If passengers normally board or alight the bus on the estate they will have to use the stops on New Road instead.
What on earth is tactile paving? I thought all paving was tactile – it certainly feels that way if you slip and fall!
