THE HEDON GUIDES are one of the latest good causes supported by the Hedon Mayor’s charitable donations.
The Mayor Councillor Jim Lindop and Mayoress Sue Lindop presented a cheque for £250 to Leader, Victoria Walsh on behalf of the unit at the Guides meeting place at Hedon Methodist Church.
Guides are girls aged 10 to 14. Members take part in a wide range of exciting activities at regular meetings and at special events. Girls can get involved in anything from adventure sports to performing arts, travel and taking part in community action projects. Adults work with Guides as part of the Leadership team.
