HOLDERNESS LIONS have expressed their thanks to the Hedon Community First Responders for supporting the Lions Santa’s Sleigh Tour in the month before Christmas 2012.
Members of the Hedon Responder team played the ‘reindeer’ role by towing Santa’s Sleigh across the Holderness area for the annual charity fundraising tour in December.
In appreciation, at the Holderness Lion’s meeting last Tuesday, Lion Janet Weatherill (President) handed over a cheque for £200 to the Hedon Responders which was gratefully received on behalf of the organisation by Responders Tim Houlton (Assistant Coordinator) and Roger Allison.
Some of the Holderness Lions’ Santa’s Sleigh volunteers are pictured below at the group’s Christmas Fayre in Thorngumbald in December 2012.
A big thank you to the Holderness Lions
For their continued support of the Hedon Community first responder team.
The donation will be used to support the team
When we need to purchase clothing or
Equipment or attend extra training courses.
Also I would like to publicly thank Roger & Tim for their enthusiasm & commitment to the Hedon team & for giving their own time in taking Santa on his visits around the local villages.
