JOHNSON’S have renewed a planning application for the erection of a building to be used as a Café Bar.
A previous application proposed the redevelopment of the former garage site as a restaurant and was granted planning permission, but the current proposal is to build a Café Bar that would sell food and alcohol and could be open between 8am – midnight.
This issue has generated some local opposition with residents in Roslyn Crescent fearing the effects of such an establishment so close to their garden areas, but the fact that the previous application did get planning permission might suggest that it will be successful again?
You can find out more about the Planning Application and register to make comments via the East Riding Council’s website (when you get to the Public Access website, enter reference 12/04181/OUT into the search box).
