THE LATEST update from Yorkshire Water shows that NO COMPLAINTS have been received about foul odours from the Waste Water Treatment Works at Saltend.
In the week Monday 9th of July – Sunday 15th July 2012, no odour reports had been logged – in the same period last year then over 20 complaints had been received.
This does indicate that the £3.5m odour control unit and the measures put in place by Yorkshire Water to minimise odours are indeed working as intended.
… Now if only Yorkshire Water could do something about the rain and the soggy summer!? 🙂
