CARL AND JACKIE celebrate their third anniversary at the helm of The Station on Saturday 21st July 2012.
SAX MAD are the zany duo that will provide the entertainment. Rick and Kippa provide a mix of sixties through to modern music with a unique saxophone accompaniment – they’ve also been known to tell the odd joke or two!
Entertainment starts around 9pm, but you might want to come in early to get the best seats!
Carl and Jackie took over the reins of the Souttergate pub in July 2009 at a time when the future of that establishment was by no means secure. The pub was going through a difficult time with a dwindling customer base – in fact because the pub sign was missing, many people actually thought the pub was closed!
Carl and Jackie have been instrumental in transforming the pub into an extremely friendly place; a traditional pub with a full community of regulars.
