HAVE YOUR SAY about public transport at a special Travel Surgery to be held in Hedon on Tuesday 6th March 2012.
Bus and rail passengers will have the chance to comment about local services at this special event. It will take place onboard a consultation bus that will be parked up at Hedon Market Place from 10am – 3pm.
The Hedon Travel Surgery is organised by specialist transport charity The City of Hull & Humber Environment Forum (CHEF). It will give the public an opportunity to raise issues and make suggestions about anything to do with public and community transport issues; routes, timetables, reliability, service quality, fares, suggestions for new routes and ideas for days out.
It will also give important feedback to the council and transport operators to help improve the quality of the transport network.
Information will be available from East Yorkshire Motor Service (EYMS), Northern Rail, First Hull Trains and First Transpennine Express as well as Hart – the local community transport operator. You can also find out about concessionary bus passes or make representations about bus stops.
Free, all welcome. No appointment necessary. You don’t have to be a bus or train user; you might just want to find out what services are available.
