THE HEDON TOWN Conservation Area aims at improving the appearance and special character of the town. The Council makes regular appeals to local businesses and property owners to  help in improving the town centre and preserving the historic charm of the town.

However, in the latest edition of Town Council Newsletter (circulated via the Holderness Heartbeat), the idea of awarding a “Hedon Seal of Approval” has been mooted. This would involve nominated properties being able to use the Hedon Seal and a citation in reward for their efforts.

The Council seeks nominations from the public: Which properties do you think enhance the centre of the ancient and historic market town of Hedon and should be recommended for the Seal of Approval?

Nominations should be forwarded to the Hedon Town Council – e-mail townclerk@hedon.gov.uk
