Community Health Watchdogs come to Hedon

THE ERYLINk is “Your Voice on Health & Social Care”.

The East Riding of Yorkshire LINk or Local Involvement Network aims to be the important voice of local people, patients and communities concerned with health and social care in the area. The network is holding a key Forum on Social Care in Beverley in June (see HU12) – but people in Hedon and area will have an opportunity to find out a bit more about the LINk when it visits the town later this month.

The LINk will be in Hedon at the big Co-op on Hull Road as part of a Health and Equality Road Show on Tuesday, 24th May 2011 from 11 am to 4 pm. The Road Show bus will be parked in the car park for people to pop into for information on the LINk as well as many other services available.

It is almost certain that at some point in our lives we will all need to rely on the NHS or Social Care Services – for ourselves or our loved ones! It is in our own interests to ensure that people and communities have a stronger voice on Health and Social Care.

Find out about Joining LINk or pop in and see them on the 24th May.
