DESPITE FEARS NATIONALLY that Children’s Centres will close or have their funding cut, it has been confirmed that the Sure Start Children’s Centres in George Street, Hedon and Hull Road, Withernsea will escape the public sector funding squeeze – and will actually benefit from a small increase in funding.
