hedon-car-parks-logoThe Holderness Gazette (excellent source of really local news) reports Thurs 5th March ’09 that Hedon’s town council is seeking a meeting with the responsible East Riding Council OSC (overview and scrutiny committee) to disscuss the proposed car parking charges. The proposals if implemented will affect three of Hedon’s car parks which will become ‘pay and display’; Church Lane, Magdalen Gate and Thorn Road. Iveson Close will remain a free car park.

The recommendations resulting from the Car Parking Review Panel (see below) were discussed by the Greater Prosperity OSC on 22nd January. The minutes from that meeting are available from the East Riding Council (with the Agenda for 5th March) or in information below:
