IN A “FAIRY TALE MOMENT” it began to snow at the switch on of Hedon’s Christmas Lights last night!

Thanks must go to the groups that set up stalls and other activities, and also to Hedon Town Council for creating a fantastic winter wonderland event in the town centre. And how on Earth did you manage to book the snow!?

Published here for purposes of debate: 11 April 2012 Dear Sir, Now is the time to celebrate the renewal of our National Health Service under the Conservatives. - There is nothing better then getting out in…There is nothing better then getting out in the fresh air and having a run on a Sunday morning. I did that this morning. As I faced west with Hull and the Humber Bridge in the distance I begin to think what would my view be like in 10 years? - In response to Darrens message about irresponsible dog…In response to Darrens message about irresponsible dog owners, we in Paull have our fair share of unwanted dog mess. This is left by people’s dogs who don’t even live in the village, they come for a walk along the bank and through the woods and fail to pick up the dogs mess. On occasions the owner does manage to bag the mess then leaves the bag! […]
- Open letter on NHS reforms from Graham Stuart MP

However this year, the seasonal weather – with the possibility of snow – should add a really festive atmosphere to the occasion. The secret is to bring lots of warm clothing, scarves, hats and gloves, but also take advantage of the many indoor attractions available as well as those outdoor. You can visit Alexandra Hall where warm and other refreshments will be available; you can also visit the warm interiors of the local pubs and the shops that will be open.
TEN GAMES OF BINGO take place at Paull Village Hall tonight. Great prizes of Farmyard Produce are available to win from Andre Little Butchers in Hedon.
