THE STATION PUB hosts the Hedon Singers on Wednesday 22nd December 2010 starting at 9:00pm’ish.

Nothing strange there you might think? Wrong! The Hedon Singers are a group of regulars at the Souttergate pub, who at Christmas once a year have a strange urge to belt out traditional Christmas Carols at full volume!
The evening is lots of fun with everyone encouraged to join in the singing if they wish (song sheets provided) – and, as if affected by that strange magic of Christmas, people do join in and thoroughly enjoy themselves! This is reminiscent of the old traditional pub-sing-alongs!
This is a simple but enjoyable night! Here’s the official blurb from Jackie the Landlady:
“A group of customers who come in the pub all the year round called the Hedon Singers WHO DO NOT NORMALLY SING will be singing carols. This is a lovely evening everyone is handed a song sheet and are welcome to join in. Last year a hat was passed round and money was raised for cancer research as one of the group had passed away.”
Your hosts Carl and Jackie look forward to seeing you all on the 22nd December!
