Applications for period one will need to be received by Sunday, 20 December. Covers things like the cost of food, energy (such as heating, cooking and lighting), water bills (including sewerage) and other essentials (such as sanitary products), warm clothing, soap, blankets, boiler service/repair, and purchase of equipment including fridges, freezers and ovens.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council – COVID-19 Tier 3 Announcement
The tier restrictions will come into effect from the beginning of Wednesday, 2 December (00.01). Until then, the national restrictions will remain in place. The Government has said it will review tier allocations by 16 December.

Coronavirus Community Response Hub opening hours reduced
The dedicated telephone number (01482) 393919 for the coronavirus community response hub will change its opening hours this week due to the falling number of requests for help. The operating hours are now between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

From 15 June, face coverings will be required while using public transport in England.
FROM 15 June you will have to wear a face-covering when you travel on public transport.
This doesn’t have to be a face mask – it can be as simple as a scarf or bandana tied around your head.
SURVEY on East Riding town centres reopening
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has released a short survey to find out how residents feel about the reopening of retail and other local facilities after the Government recently announced the planned changes to services which have not been available during the COVID-19 lockdown… it should only take a few minutes to complete.
Enhanced East Yorkshire bus timetables (services 71,75,76,77,78,89) start 31 May 2020
From Sunday 31 May, in response to the government’s coronavirus advice, East Yorkshire buses will be increasing their bus services.
From today (Wed 13 May) people are allowed to spend more time outdoors.
Details on a range of outdoor activities which will be allowed in England from 13 May 2020 subject to social distancing rules.
