Harman Red:
LOADED a new film today. And it really is new! This is Harman Red.

Formed in 2005 by former managers of ILFORD Imaging UK, HARMAN technology takes its name from Alfred Harman, founder of the original ILFORD company in 1879. Last year the company produced a new colour negative film called Phoenix, and this year they have followed that up with a version of that film produced as a red scale film.
Those who have followed the photography thread on the Hedon Blog will know that I experimented with Revolog SnoVlox earlier this year. It was a film pre-loaded with snow effects, and really enjoyed shooting with it; albeit the outcome was unpredictable. Harman Red is similar, it includes a layer creating red, orange, and yellow hues. Harman describes the film as potentially producing results that are ‘apocalyptic’ and ‘dystopian’.
I can’t wait to shoot the film and imagine using it for sunsets to exaggerate the effects of fiery skies!
I will bring you the results here on another Photo Friday 😀
