Community Boycott of MTH Networks.
THANK YOU to those households in Hedon and Preston who have pledged to BOYCOTT MS3 Networks and Internet Service Providers like MTH Networks that hope to use their telegraph poles.
This series of articles invites you to email the boycotted companies to remind them that they are subject to boycott for the next 10 years. Use any of the arguments here or send them the link:

MTH Networks – You are listed as a partner organisation of MS3 Networks based in Hessle, East Yorkshire.
MS3 has forcibly planted telegraph poles in towns and villages in East Yorkshire despite communities saying NO.
In Hedon and Preston, we have organised a COMMUNITY BOYCOTT of MS3 and its partners. This is supported by ONE THIRD of Households in Hedon and Preston – and support for boycott is increasing. This boycott shall remain active for a minimum of ten years and will not be reviewed until October 2033. During the period of boycott residents and businesses will be actively encouraged not to sign up to those providers that choose telegraph poles to deliver services. This includes MTH Networks.
You have a choice; to remain a partner of MS3 Networks and be subject to community boycott or do the decent thing and disassociate yourselves from the anti-democratic MS3 Networks.

One former partner of MS3 Networks has disassociated itself from the rogue company!
MS3 Networks have been awarded the Internet Stinkers Award for 1. lack of community engagement and 2. poor service delivery. Disassociate yourselves from the Stinkers!
Is it right, that communities who have very clearly articulated that they don’t want unnecessary telegraph poles (through meetings, demonstrations and via their elected representatives), should have them forced upon them? This has been the case in Hedon. MS3 is currently advertising the need for more choice in the broadband market, but what choice did they offer communities here when it came to telegraph poles? None!
Since working in the county (East Riding) up until the 30th October 2023, MS3 Networks have been fined 89 times by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council for breaches of permits – that’s between £7,120 – £10,680 worth of fines in just 10 months! MS3 were subject to a Stop Work Notice on the 1st of November 2023 because of unsafe working. Is this an organisation you want to be associated with?
Going Underground campaign group.
MS3 and its CEO Guy Miller have been known to stretch the truth somewhat:
- “We’re going underground in Hedon” – 500 – 600 telegraph poles destined for the town tell a different story!
- “Community is an integral part of MS3’s business.” Community engagement and consultation have been non-existent in Hedon. Giving community grants as sweeteners doesn’t win over that community to support telegraph poles.
- “All works are completed to Council Regulation and HAUC specification.” – 89 fines tell a very different story.
- “It’s KCOM’s fault for not letting us use their infrastructure!” MS3 have repeatedly shrugged their shoulders when facing angry residents and referred to the KCOM bogeymen ‘They’re keeping us out, they are not willing to share their poles and ducting’ they argue. This is repeated ad nauseam by their employees on the ground and by their Welch Civils contractors. Even the policeman who helped the poles lorry navigate through the people and cars on Shields Road estate ago, said that perhaps protesters ought to demonstrate at KCOM’s headquarters. This is answered by KCOM’s Tim Shaw.
