THE HEDON TOWN CALENDAR 2023 has been published by the Hedon Town Council. Calendar 2023 is on sale at Hedon Town Hall, John Dennis Estate Agents, and Indie’s Pet Supplies on St. Augustine’s Gate, Occasions (Post Office) in the Market Place, and Scott’s Barbers, and Apron Strings on Souttergate. The first copies (£3) are likely to be snapped up at the Hedon Christmas Lights switch-on event.
The twelve images in the A3-sized calendar depict well-known local scenes and events. The photos were all taken by local people.
People have traditionally bought the Calendar for home use, as Christmas and New Year presents and some even find their way around the world when gifted to Hedon ex-pats, relatives, and friends living abroad.
The proceeds from sales are used by the council to put on community events in the town.
