THE POST OFFICE has expressed delight at the restoration of post office services to the Hedon area.

After the previous branch closed in November 2021 “due to reasons beyond our control” says the Post Office, Hedon has been without services since then. The new branch in Occasions card and stationery shop in the Market Place “restores services to the area” says the Post Office and “provides 75 hours of post office service a week for the convenience of customers”.

“We are delighted to have restored a Post Office to this area as we know how important a Post Office is to a community. The branch’s opening hours will make it convenient for customers to visit.”

Allison Wallace, Post Office Network Provision Manager

The opening hours of the new branch are:

  • Monday – Saturday: 5am – 4.30pm;
  • Sunday: 6am – 12 noon.
