Of course, as locals know, Occasions moved some time ago into the next-door building which is actually Kirk House (number 12 and not number 10).

  1. Fantastic news . This will be a God send for the Elderly community , it will also bring people back into Hedon and that can only be good news for the local shops.

  2. Of course, as locals know, Occasions moved some time ago into the next-door building which is actually Kirk House (number 12 and not number 10). Somewhat ironic that the Post Office has got the address wrong! 😀

  3. Well done to the owners of OCCASIONS for undertaking this vitally important service to the wider community , not just Hedon.

  4. Similar thing happened in Newport East Yorkshire a few years ago. Post Office closed. Owners of Londis Shop made room in shop for a post office counter. So when shop is open post office counter is also open. 6.00 am in this case. Ive been in at half seven on a Sunday morning and withdrawn cash. Things like this are good. Being available at times that the public want and not just 9 – 5 Mon – Friday. It’s also good for other businesses in the town. Last year I had to return some equipment to SKY via Royal Mail. Nearest Post Office in Marfleet. Fortunately I’ve transport so I could get there. May I wish the owners of the business every good look in this new venture. Residents of Hedon welcomed this venture with open arms.
