#PlatinumJubilee Events:
Hedon – RESIDENTS are invited to get involved in the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations by decorating their homes in RED, WHITE and BLUE for June.
A COMPETITION is being held by Hedon Town Council to find the BEST DECORATED PLACE with a small prize to be won. Local pubs, businesses, and care homes are likely to ‘dress up’ too. 
Hedon Town Council asks that you send ONE BEST PHOTO of your decorations to email townclerk@hedon.gov.uk by Friday 10 June 2022.
#Hedfest22 Friday 3 June – Be aware of rolling road closures affecting Hedon during the Carnival Parade. Approximately 1pm – 2pm.
Hedon Civic Parade Sunday 5 June – Be aware of rolling road closures affecting Hedon during the Carnival Parade. Approximately 1pm – 2pm.
Thorngumbald – There will be vintage 16mm film of the Coronations of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth (the latter in colour)
