FOLLOWING a major power cut last night (INCD-158615-A), which saw some properties without power for over an hour, it was interesting to note that there was an increase in visits to our Quick Links page as people sought information from Northern Powergrid. However, as useful as the Quick Links are, you can sign up for updates directly from Northern Powergrid as this YouTube video explains.
Perhaps one of the shortcomings of Northern Powergrids messaging system is the lack of any follow-up messages to explain what the cause of the power cut was?
