Hedon Scouts asked to “clap for carers” in full uniform on Thurs 23 April, 8pm

Scouts are being asked to join in and clap in full uniform, for next Thursday’s Round of Applause for NHS carers and other essential workers at 8pm. Thursday 23 April is St. George’s Day.

APRIL 26 should have been the Scouts Annual St. George’s Day Parade with the active involvement of Hedon Scouts – understandably the parade this year has been cancelled due to the pandemic.

However, all scouts are being asked to join in and clap in full uniform, for next Thursday’s Round of Applause for NHS carers and other essential workers at 8pm.

Thursday is also St. George’s Day 23 April. Scouts are asked to join in with the round of applause with their household from doorways, windows and gardens.

Do send us in any photographs of your scouting members of the family joining in with next week’s tribute. Email: hu12@gmx.com.

Remember: Stay safe and keep your distance from others (2m / 6ft apart).
