STYLE FINDERS is under new business ownership. Louisa Fisher is the 22-year-old entrepreneur who wants to take the hairstylists on Market Place into new exciting directions, whilst building upon a business that has stood the test of time in Hedon for over 30 years.
Louisa is from the local area and as well as being a trained hairstylist has also worked in Hedon at Albermarle Care Home and behind the bar at The Shakespeare Inn. She’s looking forward to developing the business, and meeting and greeting existing, returning and new customers to the salon. An Open Day is being held on Sunday 8th May 2016 from 11am to do just that; provide an opportunity for people to drop-in and meet some of the new thirteen strong team at Style Finders and learn all about what services are – and will be – on offer.
The Open Day is sponsored by Redken and all those booking appointments at the Open Day will have opportunities to benefit from that haircare solutions company treatments. Style Finders is also a specially selected partner in the East Riding of ghd the hair products company.
With coffee on offer and nibbles – and perhaps a glass of wine – it looks like it will be a nice experience discovering the new Style Finders. And don’t think it’s just for the ladies too; Style Finders already does cater for gents, it is a side of the business that Louisa hopes to expand.
‘Cutting edge’ (pardon the pun) is a good term to describe Louisa who is keen to use new technology and social media to engage with her customers. An ‘electronic partner’ working in the salon is an innovative telephone appointment booking system called Shortcuts which takes the strain out of reception and front desk duties.
The business is on Facebook and in the first week under Louisa’s management has already attracted a lot of interest through a competition held which saw three lucky customers win prizes. First prize was a Full Colour and Cut with one of the senior stylists. You can also find the business on Instagram and Twitter.
