WHILST the traditional Civic Sunday Parade held annually in Hedon is very much to honour the Hedon Mayor for that particular year and his or her civic guests, this year the Hedon Blog has chosen to concentrate on the leading role in the Parade played by the Humberside and South Yorkshire Army Cadet Force.

Each year the Army Cadet Force provides the main and leading contingent – and the band – for the Civic Sunday Parade and it takes quite a logistical operation to mobilise its young members to take part.

These photos taken at yesterday’s Parade (Sunday 6th September 2015), albeit only a few, are a very small attempt to offer some thanks and recognition for those great efforts.
