THE MAYOR and Mayoress of Hedon have their traditional Civic Parade and Service taking place on Sunday 6th September 2015.
The 669th Mayor, Councillor Neil Black and his Mayoress Mrs Linda Black will be joined by other Hedon Town Councillors, the Deputy Lieutenant of the East Riding of Yorkshire, Chairman of the East Riding of Yorkshire and other civic dignitaries in the Market Place from 1:35pm for the Parade.
The Parade will make its way to St Augustine’s Church for the Civic Service at 2pm, following which, it will reform to march back to the Market Place to offer the formal salute to the Mayor.
The Humberside and South Yorkshire Army Cadet Force and its band will once again provide the predominant contingent of this traditional march.
