#HedFest15 – Day One – done it!

So how was your #HedFest15 on Friday?

HedFest singerWith over 2,500 wrist bands sold – with each venue full of an excited audience – and the town literally buzzing last night, I think we can declare Friday night a success!

Have a look at the photos below – and remember we would love to see yours too – send them to hedonblog@gmx.com – and don’t forget our photography competition with £100 first prize!

It’s worth mentioning two people – amongst many others – working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring you your HedFest adventure:

John Holtby – the Cornucopia organiser of HedFest flitting between venues on his ‘organisermobile’ – and John Dennis, town councillor and the purveyor of the Town Hall wrist bands. He, along with colleague Councillor Terry West based at South Holderness Technology College car park, had a long night selling wrist bands (an emergency batch of 1,000 orange hard-wearing paper versions are on sale due to having sold out of the initial batch plastic bands).

Late Line up Changes for Saturday 15th August:>>

Unfortunately we have lost the Madisons for Saturday evening 10.15pm at the Haven Arms. but the other acts will absorb the time slot.

Mark Rowland is unable to take part at the Haven at 4pm and Alexandra Hall at 1pm. David Gray is his highly recommended replacement so we look forward to seeing David instead.
