Hedon Shop Theft – Can you help identify woman?

HUMBERSIDE POLICE would like help in identifying the woman seen in this CCTV image.

An amount of beauty products where allegedly stolen from Boots the Chemist, Market Place in Hedon on Tuesday 27th January 2015.

Officers would now like to speak to the woman seen in the CCTV image who may be able to help with the police investigation.

It is thought two women originally entered the chemist with a dog at 4.25pm, in which a staff member informed the two women the dog could not come inside, unless it was a guide dog, so the second female and the dog went back outside.

The second woman, described as aged between 40 – 59-years-old, with very long blonde wavy hair allegedly selected a number of face creams, before leaving the store without offering payment.

Anyone who can help the police with their investigation is asked to contact Humberside Police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference number 2094116.

  1. Not being facetious but a description of the dog might help further in identifying this woman or the other one if local. Local dog walkers would perhaps remember a type of dog as much as, if not more, than the owner.

  2. General note – make sure all property and commercial premises are secure. There have been several burglaries in Hedon in the past fortnight and two attempted break ins at our shop last week. So keep your eyes peeled and your doors locked!
